Samarkand: Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised the issue of global supply chain and food crisis in front of Russian President Putin at the SEO Summit. Prime Minister Modi had said that the global supply chain has been disrupted by the pandemic and the Ukraine crisis, leading to an unprecedented food crisis in the world. Now Russian President Putin has reacted to this statement of PM Modi. The meeting between the two leaders took place on the sidelines of the SCO summit. During the meeting, Putin said he understood the concerns.
Putin said he wants the conflict with Ukraine to end as soon as possible. Putin began the conversation by congratulating India on the 75th year of independence. He said all the best. Putin further said, 'India-Russia relations are continuously improving. We are constantly connected. We also engage on international issues. Sometimes there is no good news. We are aware of your position on the Ukraine conflict as well as I am aware of your concerns. You have shared them too.
