After the Supreme Court, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has also taken cognizance of pollution spread by firecrackers. The High Court issued a notice in Punjab and Haryana and Chandigarh seeking a response.

The High Court has appointed senior lawyer Anupam Gupta as the court friend (Emacs Curie). The court yesterday said that on Friday, all the parties have asked for a response on the licenses of the cracker sale.

Let us tell you before the Supreme Court has banned the sale of firecrackers till November 1 in the Delhi NCR. The court had ordered the sale of firecrackers with the first order conditions, which would be effective from November 1.

Delhi's cracker vendors have filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking a hearing again. The cracker vendors have demanded from the Supreme Court that the petition should be heard soon. According to him, the date of the hearing has been fixed October 24.

Fireworks sellers say that hearing on the fixed date after Diwali will not be of any use. On this, the Supreme Court's second senior judge, Mr. Ranjan Gogoi, did not give any date for the hearing but said that the judge who gave the verdict will discuss this issue.
