Kiran Rijiju tweet- Pema Khandu to take oath as Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh on May 29

BJP is all set to form government in the state for the first time with absolute majority. 
After a landslide victory in the Assembly elections with 41 seats in the 60-seat house, BJP held it's legislature party meeting in Itanagar today.

PNIB News Bureau correspondent reports that Pema Khandu will be sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh for the second term on Wednesday. 

BJP in its legislature party meeting today unanimously elected Mr. Khandu as the leader of its legislature party. The meeting was also attended by Senior  BJP leader and Party Central Observer  JP Nadda. 

Later, Mr. Khandu met Governor Dr. BD Mishra and stake claim to form government. It's is expected that his council of Ministers will also take oath on the same day.

In Arunachal Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs chose Pema Khandu as the leader of the BJP legislature party. Now Pema Khandu will take oath as the chief minister of the province on 29 May. Kiran Rijiju is an MP from Arunachal West Lok Sabha constituency of Arunachal Pradesh.

In the assembly elections held in Arunachal, the Bharatiya Janata Party won the full majority. The BJP won 41 out of 60 seats in the state, whereas the Congress won only four and the NPP won just five seats.
