Chief Minister announced in virtual dialogue with women self-help groups associated with Uttarakhand State Rural Livelihood Mission
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, in a virtual dialogue with women self-help groups associated with Uttarakhand State Rural Livelihood Mission, announced a relief package of Rs. declare. This will benefit 07 lakh 54 thousand 984 people in the state.
The Chief Minister said that commendable work is being done by various self-help groups in Uttarakhand. They have contributed a lot to the economy of the state. In view of the Kovid epidemic, their activities have been adversely affected. These self-help groups mainly work for the women of the state, who are the backbone of the mountain economy. The business of these women self-help groups and beneficiaries of self-employment schemes of the state government has been adversely affected due to the COVID pandemic. This package has been decided to give relief to them.
The Chief Minister said that under this package, Uttarakhand State Rural Livelihood Mission and ILSP. The State Government will reimburse interest of Rs 24.82 crore to 30,365 groups formed under the scheme on loans taken by them.
. 159 CLFs formed under Uttarakhand State Rural Livelihood Mission. To per C.L.F. One time grant of Rs.5.00 lakh will be given. The estimated cost of which will be Rs 7.95 crore.
Uttarakhand State Rural Livelihood Mission and ILSP. Financial assistance will also be provided for 06 months to the active self-help groups formed under the scheme for self-reliance. In which total assistance of Rs 51.59 crore will be given to 42989 groups at the rate of Rs 2000 per month.
In the program, the Chief Minister also released the book of Rural Development Department based on the success story of women self-help groups. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also honored selected women self-help groups of each district. He presented a check, certificate and a memento worth Rs one lakh to the Gaura Self Help Group, which was awarded by the Government of India. On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored Mrs. Chandramani Das of Nari Shakti Cluster in Udham Singh Nagar district. On 12th August, Smt. Chandramani got the opportunity of virtual dialogue by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Shri Ganesh Joshi, MLA Shri Khajan Das, Shri Kunwar Pranav Champion, Shri Rajesh Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Manisha Panwar, Shri Anand Bardhan, Secretary Shri S. a. Women from Murugeshan and women's own groups from different districts of the state were present.
