Chief Minister distributed relief material to flood affected people of Balapampur district
Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji visited the flood affected areas of the district Balrampur today. During this time, he visited the three tehsils of the district and provided relief material to the flood victims. He said that every possible help would be provided to the flood victims by the state government and administration. There will be no shortage of funds for relief and rescue operations. He warned the district administration that any kind of negligence would not be tolerated in the relief and rescue operations related to the flood.
While addressing the people present during the distribution of relief material at the Balrampur Sports Stadium, the Chief Minister said that he has already done an aerial surveys of this district. Expressing condolences on the flood victims, he said that every possible help would be provided to all flood victims by the government and administration. Directing the district administration, he said that the list of people whose houses have been damaged or broken, should be made available immediately. He instructed the district administration to provide adequate quantities of foodgrains, pure drinking water, and other essential items including kerosene to the victims in flood affected areas.
Yogi ji said that the arrangement of the fodder along with the safety of the animals in flood affected areas should be ensured. He instructed the Health Department to ensure the work of distribution of chlorine tablets, spraying, etc. by organizing camp. In addition, he also directed to complete all preparations for the prevention of infectious diseases.
The Chief Minister said that strict action would be taken against them when the carelessness, insensitivity shown by the officers / employees in relief and rescue operations. He instructed the senior officers of the district administration to not give leave to any officer or employee till the flood situation has remained in the district.
Yogi ji said that the district administration made the survey available to the farmers promptly by surveying the loss of crops due to floods. He said that a permanent action plan should be taken by the administration to diagnose the problem of flood due to the rivers of Nepal, so that the loss of life and property can be prevented.
The officials apprised the Chief Minister that the district administration has arranged 32 flood checks, 31 relief checks, 73 boats, 22 motor boats etc. for relief and rescue operations. Apart from this, the flood battalions of 10 Medical teams, 01 NDRF and 04PCA have been deployed in Junkad.
On this occasion, Excise Minister Shri Jai Pratap Singh, Minister of State for Mineral Development (Independent Charge) Mr. Suresh Rana, along with other public representatives, senior officials of Government Administration and a large number of people were present.
