Teachers' Day celebrations were held in Sidhauli by the Aga Khan Foundation. Today on 05.09.2024, in collaboration with the Comprehensive Rural Development Project "Parivartan", the headmasters, assistant teachers, education officers present in the primary schools, upper primary schools and composite schools of Sidhauli expressed their views on the auspicious occasion of Teachers' Day and explained the importance of education and teachers. A teacher is playing a very important role in building a beautiful future for the students by playing the role of a bridge between society and students. Aga Khan Foundation has provided support to farmers to increase the yield of various agricultural products, promote organic farming, vermicompost, tree plantation as well as smart classes, science labs, libraries, Bala painting, sensory gardens etc. in 28 schools of Sidhauli. Today 30 teachers were present from the said schools who were honored and the teachers expressed their views on the auspicious occasion of Teachers' Day. On behalf of Aga Khan Foundation, Alok ji said that Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday is celebrated as Teacher's Day. Dr. Radhakrishnan was a great educationist, first Vice President and second President of India. On behalf of the institution, various types of activities are organized on time for the all-round development of students in schools along with farmers. Mr. Alok, Abhishek, Diksha, Pramod, Pradeep, Deepu, Deepak, Shivbalak, Sachin, Sadhna, Shalu, Ranjit etc. were present from Aga Khan Foundation.

Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi participated in the 16th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Central Regional Council organized by the Government of India in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Various topics related to the development of Uttarakhand state were also discussed in the meeting.
