The birth centenary year of the famous painter Syed Haider Raza Celebrated

This year is the birth centenary year of the famous painter Syed Haider Raza. Exhibitions, seminars, and workshops are being organized on his art across the country. In this sequence, a grand exhibition of Syed Haider Raza's paintings 'Raza Rang Wangmay' was organized under the joint aegis of K Su Saket Post Graduate College, Ayodhya and Raza Foundation, New Delhi. 

A poetry seminar was organized on the first day after the inauguration of the exhibition. On the second day of the exhibition, a painting workshop of meritorious children of the Department of Painting was organized and certificates were distributed to all the participants. In the poetry recitation of the first day, the city's senior poet Swapnil Srivastava, young critic, poet Vishal Srivastava, and Kanchan Jaiswal presented their famous poems. recited. Dr. Kumud Singh presented his work related to women's discourse titled 'Women are brave'. 

Dr. Bushra Khatoon of Urdu Department recited her poem 'Shokh Rang Se Mukalima' written on Syed Haider Raza. Dr. Khatoon said that to understand the paintings and compositions of Syed Haider Raza, one needs an attitude which is not available to everyone. Earlier, the photo exhibition was inaugurated by the Principal Prof. Abhay Kumar Singh by lighting the lamp in front of the statue of Maa Saraswati. Regarding the paintings of Syed Haider Raza, the story writer Neelam Shankar, who came from Allahabad, said that the geometric shapes and colours used by Raza Saheb in his paintings have very deep meanings. 

They explain with great vividness all the beliefs related to the Indian spiritual tradition and the creation of the universe. Ms. Sushila Puri threw light on Raza Sahab's art journey in its entirety. In his remarks, Principal Prof. Abhay Kumar Singh said that painting and poetry are essential parts of any culture and they strengthen and strengthen civilizations. The Principal, while thanking all the guest poets, honoured them with flowers. On this occasion the Chief Controller of the college Dr. Anil Singh, Dr. Poonam Joshi, Dr. Paresh Pandey, Dr. Ambrish Srivastava, Dr. Chhaya Singh, Dr. Sandeep Verma, Dr. Alok Singh, Dr. Dinesh, Dr. Santosh Saroj and a large number of students were present. Dr. Kumud Singh and Ms. Sushila Puri conducted the stage. In the end, Dr. Akhilesh of the Sanskrit Department proposed the vote of thanks.
