Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today reviewed the development works and law and order by holding a meeting with public representatives and officials in the Circuit House Auditorium, Varanasi. The Chief Minister said that the ongoing development projects in the district should be completed with quality within the stipulated time frame by running a campaign. The development works under construction should be reviewed regularly and the progress and quality of the work should be monitored by the nominated nodal officers. Safety standards should be followed during construction work.
The Chief Minister stressed on paying attention to security and law and order in the district after the success of 'Operation Sindoor' being run by the Indian Army. He also instructed to keep a strict watch on urban Naxals and their associated organizations and take strict action.
The Chief Minister instructed to take strict action on cow smuggling, mining etc. activities in the border districts of Varanasi zone. He talked about auctioning the seized vehicles of cow smugglers and their contacts as per rules. Police should take strict action on incidents of robbery, chain snatching etc. In view of Safe City, he instructed to arrange for adequate number of CCTV cameras, verification of suspicious persons etc. He said that immediate action should be taken on the incidents occurring in the district. Strict action should be taken against criminals under zero tolerance.
The Chief Minister instructed to expedite the tender etc. proceedings for the construction work of Integrated Divisional Office to be built in the Commissionerate premises. He said that the officers should hold public hearings every day and solve people's problems on priority. The aggrieved people should get immediate justice. Ensure settlement of revenue disputes on merit basis. No one should have to wander unnecessarily for birth-death certificates etc. He directed to complete the work of the boundary wall of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University by June 2025 at any cost.
